Selling a painting out of a storage aisle is nobody's idea of a viewing. The gallery is a 750 sq ft white room attached to our downtown warehouse — discreet and temperature controlled, ideal for an art viewing, documentation or conservation work.
Because it is attached to the vault, work already in storage with us never goes outside to be seen. A collector arrives, the work is already on the wall, and it goes back to its bay afterwards without a truck being involved.
Dealers use it for private sales, photographers for documentation, and conservators for condition work that needs proper light and a clean wall. One technician and 30 minutes of prep are included in the first hour, and more hands can be added by the hour.
COMMON QUESTIONS
CAN I USE IT IF MY WORK IS NOT STORED WITH YOU?
Yes. We will receive the work, hang it for your appointment and return it afterwards. Transportation is quoted separately.
HOW PRIVATE IS IT?
Discreet entrance, appointment only, and no signage. Clients bring collectors here specifically because it is not a public gallery.
CAN I PHOTOGRAPH WORK IN THE ROOM?
That is one of the main reasons people book it. White walls, controlled light and a technician to move things between shots.
WHAT DOES THE DAY RATE COVER?
$1,100 for the day with one onsite technician and 30 minutes of prep. Additional technicians are $65/hr.
