Canadian Fête Champêtreartverb* a Proud Sponsor of Canadian Fête Champêtre
On September 23rd, artverb* had the honour of being a major sponsor at Bruce Bailey’s Canadian Fête Champêtre to benefit the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. We transported and installed almost all the art for this monumental event. Thanks to our green team who did such a great job!

A little recap of the event:
At Bruce Bailey’s Canadian Fête Champêtre to benefit the art acquisition fund of The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, $400,000 was raised in this groundbreaking gala. There were number of Firsts: first time an Ontario gala benefited a Quebec arts institution; first time the visual artists were VIPs at any Canadian gala; first time children age 4 to 17 were gala guests; first time 12% of the guests were under age 30; first time there was racial diversity at a Canadian gala; first time 12% of the guests were artists; first time those with “artistic capital” were seen as equals to those with “financial capital”; first gala with 18 performers; first gala mixing Quebec and Ontario philanthropists. The event hosted 520 guests in the countryside outside Toronto, with the Honourable Elizabeth Dowdewswell, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, delivering the keynote address.
